Day 1
: Upon arrival at Nairobi, you will be met by our driver guide and after greetings and introductions you will be taken to your hotel for check-in and rest overnight stay at Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel (BB) .
Day: 2
– Sleeping Warrior Ugali Hill Hiking along Lake Elementaita
After morning breakfast, depart to Lake Elementaita a salt water lake surrounded by Accacia trees and great wonderful breath taking sceneries. Also great habitation for birds including flamingoes because of the flora around. The hike takes between 5 to 6 hours around the sleeping warrior ugali hill. This is a rocky place and requires good hiking shoes with good grip. The trail passes through Lord Cole monument (Where Lord Cole was buried in 1929). This is a great site to view the lake from. Overnight at Kivu Resort (BB).
Day: 3
–Menengai Crater Hike
–After breakfast, head towards Menengai Crater located 10 kilometres from Nakuru. The hike is moderate at one of the world’s existing intact crater. Its peak gives a wider view of fascinating Kenyan lakes along the Rift Valley including Lake Bogoria and Lake Nakuru. It also allows a panoramic view of Mau Hills, Mathews Range, Tugen Hills, Elgeyo Marakwet escarpment and the Cherenganyi escarpment. Overnight stay at Kivu Resort (BB).
Day: 4
– Hells Gate Walking Tour
– After breakfast, depart towards Naivasha. On arrival, start the hike at Hells Gate which is famous the most popular park in hollywood having been featured in Lara Croft's Tomb Raiders- Cradle of Mankind and the Lion King Movie series. Its cliffs offers good breeding grounds for vultures, Verreaux's Eagles, augur buzzard and thousands of swifts; 103 species of bird have been recorded in the Park. While walking, you will come across the famous Fischer's Tower, formerly a volcano's plug, the Central Tower and Njorowa Gorges. Additionally, two extinct volcanoes: Olkaria and Hobley's are worth a trip. Natural steam vents rise from fissures in the volcanic rock. Obsidian, a striking black glassy rock formed from cooled molten lava is a feature of this landscape. After the walk you will be taken for overnight stay at Panaroma Park Hotel (BB).
Day: 5
– Mt Longonot hike
– After breakfast you will be taken to the bottom of Mt Longonot which is one of the favorite places to go for hiking or mountain climbing. Its name emanates from the Maasai word
oloonong’ot
, meaning “mountains of many spurs” or “steep ridges” pertaining to the steep rim at the top. It is a fascinating inactive volcanic mountain with its roots at the Great Rift valley. It overlooks the beautiful landscape of Lake Naivasha area in Kenya. The mountain has lava canyons on its steep slopes. After the hike you will be taken back for overnight stay at Panaroma Park Hotel (BB) .
Day: 6
–
The Forest Trekking
– After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to The Forest. Situated in the heart of the Aberdare Ranges, in the Kereita Forest, this is the best place to cater for your spirit of adventure. The Forest will be the best place to hike under trees in natural grounds. Its mountainous terrain makes it good for trekking. You can also do mountain biking (optional). After the walk you will be driven back to Nairobi. On the way you will see the Great Rift Valley view points which could be a good place for photo taking. You will be taken to Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel in Nairobi for overnight stay (BB)
Day: 7
– Ngong Hills Hiking –
After breakfast you will be taken to Ngong Hills for hiking. Ngong Hills is well known for its feature in the film ‘Out of Africa’ which is based on Karen Blixen’s book with the same title. It is also the place where her lover Finch Hatton was buried. The name Ngong comes from Maasai word for knuckles as it looks like a set of 7 knuckles from its 7 hills. Windmills and the first radio broadcasting boosters in Kenya are some attractions while hiking. After hike, overnight at Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel (BB).
Day: 8
– Ol Ndonyo Sabuk Hiking –
Ol Ndonyo Sabuk is a Maasai name for ‘mountain of Buffallo’. It is located 65 km from Nairobi. It is a rugged, hump-backed outcrop of ancient rock jutting high above the Athi plains offering panoramic view of the plains below. Barely 2KM from the top, you will pass the grave of Lord William Northrup MacMillan (an American) who owned the mountain and large plains around it in the colonial era. His legacy and philanthropic actions are document at the MacMillan Library. Among prominent people who have been there are former US president Theodore Roosevelt in 1911 and wartime British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill. After the hike, you will be driven back to Nairobi for overnight at Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel (BB).
Day: 9 –
Shopping and Departure
– After breakfast check out and proceed to local markets and malls for souvenir shopping. Depending on your time of departure, you will later be taken to the airport for a safe flight home loaded with memories of the Kenyan beauty.

Detailed Itinerary
You will be taken from your Nairobi hotel early and head to the Nairobi National Park. This will give you ample time to view and game and if lucky witness lion hunting its prey. You will also see other animals like endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded.
After the real life experience in the wild hunt for animals, you will be
taken to
David Sheldrick
elephant orphanage
, where you can feed and pet orphaned elephants, many whose mothers were felled by bullets. If that isn't enough, 'adopt' one to allow you come off-hours, (only open for one hour for public 11am to 12pm), and watch the elephant keepers tuck them in and put them to bed.
Later drive to
the Giraffe Centre where you
can feed Rothschild's giraffes food pellets from your palm, and stick a pellet between your lips and get the wettest, stickiest kiss. After lunch and shopping at nearby malls, you will be taken to the airport to catch your flight home.
You will take your lunch in a mall and proceed to the
Museums of Kenya
to enrich your culture knowledge from the land referred to as 'cradle of man-kind'.
