This is a new BNC female to SMA female coaxial adapter that is compatible with all Motorola radios that use an SMA female antenna connector. Some of the models that do use this type connector are the Visar, Saber 3, MT2000, HT1000, MTX800, MTS2000, Astro, etc. The device allows you to connect your radio to a service monitor or allows you to operate through an external antenna in your car or at home for greater range.
