Description
Aqua Lung Squeeze Lock dive knives are preferred by divers around the world. The patented Squeeze Lock design allows the diver to securely lock the knife in its sheath while offering a quick and easy release with a simple squeeze of the handle. The Small Squeeze knife has a 3.5" (8.9cm) blade, is 7" (17.8cm) long overall and can be easily mounted to integrated connection points on most Aqua Lung BCs. The blade is made from 304 series stainless steel or high-grade Beta Alloy Titanium. Patented locking mechanism securely locks knife in sheath, but releases easily with a squeeze of the handle (Patent # 5,926,959).
Nylon with fiberglass-fill handle and sheath for superior impact and abrasion resistance. Variable mounting options: Integrated BC connection points, leg strap channels, or 2" (5.1cm) locking clip. Knife has drain holes in sheath and the handle is equipped with a lanyard hole. Stainless blade is available with a blunt or sheep's foot tips and the titanium comes with a spear tip blade. All three knives are equipped with a line cutter notch. Each blade has a partial serrated edge on one side and a straight or partial straight edge on the other.

Inspect the equipment when it arrives, and if you're not fully satisfied you can return it for a full refund (less the shipping charge) as long as you haven't used it. We won't even ask why you've changed your mind.

The
Harness
Pouch / Sheath is designed to slide onto any 2 to 2.5 inch wide webbing for a secure and comfortable fit. The tool fits inside the pouch with a very snug fit. The harness pouch is made of 100% nylon webbing.

Pouch is designed for flexibility and greater accessibility options, wrapping easily around webbing, backpack straps etc. 3 1/2 inches in length, and made of 3mm neoprene. An excellent option for those who have preassembled equipment, and do not wish to go through the trouble of disassembling it. Provides a neat seal around any 2 – 2.5 inch wide webbing. The flexi pouch can be entered into from either side, which allows for greater ventilation. It can fit on either the shoulder or on the waist with little to no fuss.

Open faced diving knives are notoriously dangerous, making them generally unsuitable in response to an emergency situation. The
TRILOBITE
‘s custom ergonomic design provides a level of protection, while still delivering an easy, clean and efficient cut, making it the perfect emergency cutting tool.
The Sharpest Cut – Every Time
The ergonomically patented design uses a longer section of the cutting edge, prolonging the integrity of the blade by dispersing the erosion. As the line is pushed onto the blade by the frame of the tool, the cut is much more stable, which not only provides a much cleaner splice, but helps the blade retain it’s edge. Other “closed” cutting tools have one pivotal stress point on the cutting surface which can quickly corrode and weaken.
Specialty Blades
Normal “marine grade” stainless steel, in terms of diving knives, is generally the name given to 420 grade stainless steel, also known as “cutlery grade”. While it has a good corrosion capacity in water, it does not have such a good capacity to hold a sharp edge. Titanium can not create as sharp an edge as stainless steel. The grade of stainless steel used in the EEZYCUT TRILOBITE (440a) is known for its capacity to hold an extremely sharp edge, while having very good corrosive qualities. When the blade loses its edge or starts to corrode, you can easily put a new blade in, and yet again have the sharpest, cleanest cut in the water. Washing in fresh water after diving is recommended for all stainless steel knives and blades. All stainless steel which is used in salt water needs to be treated with care. Carefully coating any stainless steel blade in normal divers silicone grease prior to salt water usage significantly prolongs the life of the blade.
EEZYCUT only recommend EEZYCUT blades. Most carpet blades are thicker, and do not fit the TRILOBITE.
